In a recent speech by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin, the reliance on centralized trust has enabled some intermediaries to gain too much value from transactions, and the trust revolution will change that. The trust characteristics of blockchains stem from the degree of decentralization. Some blockchain networks are not mishandled and will not be deceived. Even if up to half of the nodes are malicious, this requires a viable trust layer. Then, Lubin analyzed the pros and cons of the existing blockchains such as Dfinity, Polkadot, Cosmos, Fabric, EOS, Corda, and finally concluded: "I admit that my opinion may be a bit biased, but I think there is only one feasible at present. Trust layer choice, then Ethereum."
