New Zealand Ministry of the Interior investigates the connection between the Samoan Church and the cryptocurrency OneCoin

According to Radio New Zealand, the New Zealand Ministry of the Interior (DIA) is investigating a relationship between the Samoan Church and the cryptocurrency OneCoin. It is reported that the church, called the Independent Seventh-day Adventist Church of Samoa (SISDAC), has branches in New Zealand, Australia and Samoa. Earlier this year, New Zealand police submitted a report on OneCoin's activities to the Central Bank of Samoa. Since then, the country’s central bank has launched an investigation focusing on whether OneCoin and several individuals and companies, including SISDAC, have violated Samoa’s money laundering laws.
