Analysis: Bitcoin is difficult to become a traditional asset in a short time

Zak Selbert, chief executive of financial market analyst firm Indexica, said in an interview that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are performing differently than mainstream asset classes. The reaction between bitcoin prices and the encryption market was not as expected. The main factors driving stock price movements, such as major company announcements, new technologies and government regulation, have almost no material impact on Bitcoin. For Bitcoin, it is difficult to find the drivers of price changes. When price changes cannot be explained or determined, it means that the asset will take some time to become a traditional asset.
