Bank of France Governor: Libra must comply with anti-money laundering rules

According to Reuters, French central bank governor Francois Villeroy de Galhau said in an interview that although Libra can improve the efficiency of cross-border remittances, it must comply with anti-money laundering regulations. The anonymity of Libra users increases the risk. Libra must ensure that transactions and user data are completely secure. If the project seeks to provide more than just payment, but to provide banking services such as deposits, it must be regulated like a bank with all operating national bank licenses. Otherwise it is illegal.
