Analysis: Bitcoin prices soared, but downloads of encrypted applications have slowed

According to Bloomberg News, data shows that although the price of Bitcoin has tripled in the quarter, consumer interest in downloading encrypted applications on mobile phones and mobile devices has not been higher than the collapse of the digital asset market in the first half of 2018. The download growth has slowed down. As of June 26, more than 6,500 apps in the financial category include cryptocurrency, blockchain, or bitcoin in their descriptions from the Apple App Store and Google Play. In the first half of 2019, people downloaded 67 million encryption applications, compared with 65.8 million in the first half of last year. Due to the first launch of companies such as the Gemini Exchange, the total number of applications increased by 35% compared to January 2018. These applications are just one of many indicators, suggesting that consumer enthusiasm may not drive this year's rebound, and the adoption of cryptocurrencies may not grow at the same alarming rate.
