Europe's largest semiconductor chip manufacturer uses IOTA technology in its STM32 microcontroller family of expansion software packages

According to ICOexaminer, STMelectronics, Europe's largest semiconductor chip maker, had net revenue of $9.66 billion last year. The company will offer IOTA distributed ledger technology as an extension of its STM32 microcontroller family. Since the STM32 is based on the ARM® Cortex® M processor, this means that almost all electronics manufacturers can now integrate IOTA into the data transfer and currency transaction settlement layer (even for small payments) during the initial production phase.
