Report: The average correlation between bitcoin and large-capacity crypto assets in the second quarter of 2019 has fallen sharply

According to the Coin Research Institute, despite the market retracement in the last few days of the second quarter, the crypto-asset market still recorded the best quarterly gain since the “mad cow” at the end of 2017. Interestingly, in the second quarter, the average correlation between Bitcoin and large-capacity crypto assets fell sharply, which may be a reality of the “flight-to-quality” behavior unique to crypto-market investors in the early days of the bull market. Correspondingly, the market value of Bitcoin will increase, and the correlation with other digital assets will decline. This phenomenon has also been seen in the opening of the last round of bull market in 2015.
