The Supreme Law promulgated the results of the 2019 judicial research major project, and the blockchain related application research won the bidding of four research groups.

On July 9, the Supreme People's Court issued a document announcing that in February this year, the Supreme Law issued the title of the major subject of judicial research in 2019 and the tender notice. By the end of March, more than 200 application forms had been received. After review, it was determined that 30 research groups such as the Jiangsu Provincial Higher People's Court Task Force were the winning bidders. Among them, the sixteen groups of “Study on the Application of Big Data, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence in the Field of Judicial Trial” won the bid: The winning subject group 1: Dean of Tianjin University Law School, Professor Sun Youhai, Tianjin Senior Cai Zhiping, Vice President of the People's Court; 2: Zhong Shejun, President of the Intermediate People's Court of Zhumadian City, Henan Province; Liu Tao, Director and Professor of the Institute of Investigation and Anti-Terrorism, People's Public Security University of China; Yang Chengming, Director and Professor of Institute of International Law, Beijing Institute of Technology; Group 3: Chen Min, Dean of the Intermediate People's Court of Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Chen Ying, Director of the Research Office of the Higher People's Court of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Chen Zongbo, Dean of the Law School of Guangxi Normal University, and Chen Zongbo, the winner of the Law School Group 4: Vice President of Legal Affairs of Tencent Group Jiang Bo, deputy dean and professor of Peking University Law School, Guo Wei. It is reported that the 2019 project will be completed in July 2020, when the research and acceptance of the Supreme People's Court will be completed.
