French Asset Management Association calls for new regulations to regulate digital asset activities

According to Financial News on July 9th, the French asset management association called on regulators to take measures to make it easier for people to trade digital assets through investment funds, thereby "launching" Paris as a financial center. The association's goal is to promote France's position as a leader in asset management in Europe and to increase its competitiveness in the industry. The association recommends that new European regulations be developed as soon as possible to regulate digital asset activities. The association also called on the French market regulator AMF to support the use of blockchain technology in mutual funds, in particular to develop a distributed ledger system that manages the trading of fund stocks.
