A glance at six Bitcoin wallet interactive tutorials
Six Interactive Bitcoin Wallet Tutorials A Comprehensive LookAuthor: Luccy & Jaleel & Jack
In recent weeks, the Bitcoin ecosystem has become one of the most discussed topics in the community.
UniSat announced the launch of the brc20-swap mainnet, the sats token saw impressive gains, projects in the brc-20 field experienced frequent skyrocketing, Lightning Labs introduced the new Bitcoin protocol Taproot Assets, distributing airdrops to users, the RGB protocol that allows for the creation of smart contracts on the Bitcoin network, and the first recursive inscription game “Pixel War” on the Bitcoin ecosystem Ordinals, and so on.
With the rise of numerous Bitcoin ecosystem projects, each project has released its own Bitcoin wallet. Users must configure the corresponding wallet products in advance in order to participate in these “new games,” otherwise they may miss the opportunity to “grab the first mine.”

BlockBeats has compiled a guide on how to register and use some of the popular Bitcoin ecosystem protocol wallet products in recent times for readers’ reference.
Unisat Wallet
Initially, UniSat, the developer of BRC-20, seemed like the “outlier” in the new ecosystem, but now BRC-20 is driving the Bitcoin network crazy once again. As the first person to eat the crab, UniSat is one of the few projects that have truly grasped the opportunity.
As the first open-source browser extension wallet for Ordinals on Bitcoin, UniSat Wallet can store and transfer Ordinals, view unconfirmed inscriptions, be 100% open source, record (mint) instantly without running a full node, and store and transfer brc-20.
It can be said that BRC broke free thanks to lucky timing during the “meme season,” or that the hype around BRC cannot last long. However, the returns UniSat has obtained are real and substantial. With the Bitcoin ecosystem being popular right now, UniSat is almost the first choice of participants.
Wallet registration tutorial
1. Open the Unisat official website, select the Chrome browser, download the extension, and install it.
2. In the Chrome browser extensions, open the Unisat plugin. On this interface, new users select “Create new wallet” and enter a password to register. A 12-word mnemonic phrase will pop up, backup the mnemonic phrase, select the address that follows m/86/0/0/0/0, and click “Continue” to create the wallet successfully.
Minting BRC-20
BRC-20 is a fungible token protocol issued on the Bitcoin native chain, similar to ERC-20. Since the minting cost of Unisat Wallet is relatively high, it can be used to view real-time inscription minting information, such as the text and number of minted inscriptions, the quantity already minted, the holders, and so on.

2. Choose a Bitmap that you like. You can adjust the desired Bitmap style in the feature retrieval bar on the left side. Click “Buy Now”.
ATOM Wallet
Atomcial is the “new darling” of the Bitcoin ecosystem. Compared to Ordinals, Atomcial allows storage of one or more files during minting, defines and updates the application state of basic file types and any complex file types using Satoshis as the accounting unit, and provides decentralized and direct minting modes. It also has a built-in stock code naming service.
Atomicals protocol solves the long-standing problem of representing any fungible token asset on the Bitcoin blockchain. Atommap is the first NFT generated by CPU mining on the Atomicals protocol, and it has sparked heated discussions in the Bitcoin community.
If you want to participate in Atommap mining, UniSat Wallet cannot meet the requirements, you must use ATOM Wallet to complete the operation normally.
Wallet Registration Tutorial
1. Open the ATOM Wallet official website, select the Chrome browser to download the plugin and install it.
2. In the Chrome browser extension, open the ATOM Wallet plugin. New users should select “Create new wallet” on this interface. After entering the password to register, a 12-word mnemonic will pop up. Backup the mnemonic and select the address that ends with m/86/0/0/0/0. Click “Continue” to create successfully.
Mine AtomMap
1. Visit the official GitHub page and select atommap_svg_final.zip. On the detailed page, click the download icon on the right to download and extract it.
2. After extraction, find the file number you want to register.
It is divided into 6 stages: Number 0.atommap.svg represents 1D.atommap, which takes about 10 seconds to mine; Number 10.atommap.svg represents 2D.atommap, which takes about 3 minutes to mine; Number 100.atommap.svg represents 3D.atommap, which takes about 40 minutes to mine; Number 1000.atommap.svg represents 4D.atommap, which takes about 10 hours to mine; 5D.atommap takes about 1 week to mine; 6D.atommap takes about 3 months to mine.
3. Open the atomicals client or carving website to start engraving. Link to ATOM Wallet, select Atomicals at the top, and NFT in the bottom tabs. Using 0.atommap.svg as an example, upload the 0.atommap.svg file to the black box.
4. Select SET Bitwork, and the number in Bitwork Commit should match the selected number. Enter ab0 and click “Preview” to start POW mining.
5. Choose the casting speed you need, click “Inscribe”, link to the ATOM Wallet to pay the required amount, and start casting.
Alby Wallet
Nostr is a distributed social media protocol designed to create a censorship-resistant global social network. The protocol does not rely on trusted central servers; instead, all users run a client. Using this client, users publish content by writing an article, signing it with their private keys, and sending it to other servers, which then forward the content.
Nostr Assets Protocol is about to launch features such as Taproot Assets and Fair Mint. Taproot Assets are based on Bitcoin’s multi-signature and hash timelock contracts for asset issuance, and utilize the Lightning Network’s trust channels for large-scale distribution and circulation of assets, with asset settlement provided by the Bitcoin mainnet throughout the entire process.
Ordinals assets are easy to distribute but difficult to seize, while Taproot Assets do not require seizing but are difficult to distribute. Taproot Assets’ issuance model is similar to an ICO, with easy issuance but difficult subsequent operation and distribution, requiring the project party to have strong comprehensive capabilities in technology, operation, and marketing. Currently, over 40,000 types of assets, including tokens and NFTs, have been issued on Taproot Assets.
To use Nostr and its applications, you need to use the Alby Wallet.
Wallet registration tutorial:
1. Open the Alby official website and choose “Add browser Extension” to download and install the plugin. If you have installed the Alby plugin, you can directly click “Create Account” to enter step four.
2. After the plugin is installed, the page will automatically redirect to the wallet creation page. Follow the prompts to enter the password.
3. Click “Use Alby Link”, and the web page will redirect to a new window.
4. In the new window, new users select “Sign up to connect” on this interface. After passing the network security check, register and verify via email.
5. After completing the registration, the page will automatically close and return to the original window. Click Nostr to create a new Nostr account, generate a 12-word mnemonic phrase, and backup. OKX Web3 Wallet
In addition to some mainstream Bitcoin wallets, OKX Web3 Wallet has become one of the choices for many users because it can be used on mobile devices, which reduces the user’s entry threshold.
OKX Web3 Wallet is the first multi-chain wallet that supports Ordinals transactions and the first wallet that can trade BRC-20 tokens on mobile devices. It fully supports minting, trading BRC-20 tokens, and BTC NFTs.
Wallet registration tutorial
1. Open the OKX Web3 Wallet official website, click “Connect Wallet”, and install the plugin on Chrome browser.

After creating the wallet, back up the mnemonic that pops up on the wallet homepage. After verifying the correct mnemonic as required, you can start using the wallet.
Entering the Bitcoin ecosystem
As a well-established leading exchange, OKX has brought wallet product development to a new level with continuous breakthroughs, self-iteration, and innovation, reducing user entry barriers and providing a one-stop service for the entire process.
The OKX Web3 Wallet Ordinals Market is completely decentralized, with no platform service fees for interactions, making it the industry’s first multi-chain app wallet that supports the Ordinals Market. Users can transfer, trade, and mint BRC-20 tokens and BTC NFTs through the Ordinals Market.
BlockBeats reminds users that the current Bitcoin ecosystem market is dominated by FOMO sentiment, and most inscriptions and protocols are showing intense capital rotation. Investors must exercise caution when participating. In addition, there are currently many new wallets in the relevant ecosystem, and the minting cost of BRC-20 tokens is low, and most tokens themselves have no practical use cases. Users are advised to protect their mnemonics during the use and investment process and pay attention to risk identification.
