Cryptocurrency Investment Guide A Quick Look at 6 Worthwhile Tracks to Invest In
A Comprehensive Guide to Investing in Cryptocurrency Exploring 6 Lucrative Investment OpportunitiesAuthor: Encryption Vision
This round of market growth started in mid-October, and we can call it the compliant bull market. The approval or rejection of ETFs is of great importance to BTC. We are currently at a crucial step, but it has not been officially approved yet. Once approved, there will be a large influx of off-exchange funds.
1. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust has been listed on the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) with the stock code IBTC. (Note that it is a trust, not the ETF circulating in the social circle.)
2. A screenshot of a U.S. SEC regulatory document shows that the SEC has accepted Grayscale’s application for changes in the listing rules of its Ethereum Trust, which is the process of converting ETHE into an ETF.

3. Jennifer Rosenthal, a spokesperson for Grayscale, said in a statement after the settlement on Monday: “The Grayscale team looks forward to continuing constructive cooperation with the SEC to convert GBTC into an ETF. GBTC is operationally prepared, and we intend to take action on behalf of our investors as soon as possible.”
This round of market growth has not come easy, regardless of whether it is approved or not, there will be a wave of altcoins rising.
Currently, the most obvious rise is in blue-chip altcoins, mainly public chains. Almost every round of rotation in the market follows this pattern: BTC and ETH rise first, followed by the rise of public chains, and then rotational rise in other sectors.
The currently strong public chains are SOL, LINK, MINA, and INJ, which have risen by 28%, 35%, 89%, and 41% respectively.
Other well-performing public chains include AAVE, FTM, APT, and MATIC, which have risen by 30%, 22%, 21%, and 20% respectively.
The newly listed public chains, sei and sui, have shown relatively weak performance, but are expected to rise later.
Also, let’s talk about $CANTO, which is now a RWA coin similar to $MKR and $FXS. They also bring Treasury bill yields to the chain using the stablecoin $NOTE.
$CANTO has risen by 16% compared to last week and 160% compared to last month. TVL also grew by 50% last month and currently stands at $61 million. Another major catalyst for Canto is its use of Polygon’s CDK to move to its own L2. This may lead to a token re-evaluation. In the foreseeable future, government bond yields will be high, and projects that can obtain this yield on the chain are expected to perform well. There is a chance for the coin to go online securely.
Because this round is mainly driven by the speculation of BTC ETFs, the growth of Ethereum Layer 2 public chains is not significant. However, Bitcoin Layer 2 and related tokens have performed well.
Among them are RIF and STX, with growth rates of 83% and 30% respectively. In the previous round, STX had a higher increase, but its market value is already in the top fifty, so the space is relatively small. On the other hand, RIF is ranked around 100th in terms of market value and has a greater potential for growth. At the same time, tokens in the BRC20 ecosystem have also experienced subsequent increases. Taking ORDI and stas as examples, their growth rates are 55% and 20% respectively. The risks of other BRC20 tokens are relatively high and are not discussed for now.
The third strong sector in this round belongs to RWA, with POLYX showing the largest increase, growing over 80% in the past seven days. However, the other currencies in this sector haven’t performed particularly well, perhaps because there are not many projects in the RWA sector currently listed on Binance. Moreover, well-established projects like MKR and SNX haven’t shown significant growth either. It may be worth paying attention to RWA projects that have not yet been listed on major exchanges, such as CFG, GFI, RIO, CTC, etc.
So, how should we plan our investment strategy going forward? Here are some projects in the altcoin sector that we think are worth considering:
1. RWA public chain: $LINK $CFG $MKR $FXS
2. AI infrastructure: $RNDR $AKT
3. LSDfi: $EIGEN $PENDLE $HELIO
4. Modular blockchain: $TIA (likely to be listed on Binance)
5. BTC ecosystem: RIF, STX, ORDI
6. L2: ARB, OP
1. RWA
In the DeFi field this year, RWA tokenization has performed exceptionally well, rapidly climbing from 22nd place to 8th place.
• A report predicts a significant increase in RWA tokenization, with astonishing 26-fold growth expected by 2030, reinforcing this view.
• Based on this trend, the tokenization of national treasury bills is expected to play a key role in shaping the stablecoin supply landscape in the coming years.
2. AI infrastructure
• The global chatbot market is expected to reach $5 billion by 2022, and investments by major tech companies have further fueled this scale.
• As GPUs become crucial, NVIDIA is in a leading position, but the high cost has driven the demand for cost-effective alternatives.
• Cryptocurrency projects offer alternative solutions with unique infrastructure and decentralized advantages.
3. LSDfi
• Liquid Stake has impressively captured half of the $38 billion TVL in DeFi, accumulating a staggering $19 billion.
• Binance and various venture capitalists have recognized and highly valued the potential of LSDfi.
• Just as the “cloning” of liquidity in DeFi marked the rapid rebound at the end of 2020 (known as DeFi Summer), LSDfi is also expected to be a key player in the next bull market.
4. Modular blockchain
• The current aggregation uses a single sequencer to address challenges related to censorship resistance, MEV, and interoperability with L2.
• Developers are actively exploring numerous decentralized solutions, and multiple Rollups have emerged as leading competitors.
• Similar to last year’s discourse on Layer 2, the second half of this year is expected to focus on middleware that solves the aggregation problem.
• Chainlink: Tokenization of CCIP
• Centrifuge: Coinbase’s choice
• Maker: The king of treasury bills
• Frax finance: L2 + LSD + RWA
• Render Network: Supported by OTOY
• Akash Network: AI super cloud
• Eigenlayer: Ethereum re-collateralization
• Pendle: Blue-chip LSDfi
• Helio: LSDfi infrastructure chosen by BNB
• Celestia: The king of modularity
• Espresso system: Shared sorter
• dappOS: Intent-driven
We believe that the current market is not in a major bull run. The environment is not good enough, but having such performance in a bearish market is already good enough. So, you don’t need to chase a specific bottom. Start positioning yourself when you feel the market’s cool down. Trading is cyclical, and the four-year cycle won’t change. No matter how long this round lasts, there will still be a small bull market before the halving in January-March next year!
