NBA and CryptoKitties team launch blockchain collection game NBA Top Shot

NBA and Dapper Labs will jointly announce the launch of a blockchain-based digital collection platform, the NBA Top Shot.

According to Dapper Labs, the game allows NBA enthusiasts to buy, sell, trade and collect digital season-based signature moves for chain games or tournaments.

Josh Goodstadt, business director of the American Basketball Association, said the association believes that blockchain technology creates truly unique products that fans can collect, manage and interact in a fun environment.

The NBA Top Shot collection will be officially launched this fall, just in time for the start of the NBA regular season, and the full version will be available in early 2020.

Dapper Labs' products are not the first collaboration between Blockchain and Major League Sports. The Cleveland Cavaliers recently signed UnitedCoin as the official encryption asset. The Miami Dolphins team signed a contract with the Litecoin Foundation last month. The Houston Rockets were attacked by the Ant Mine. Pool BCH sponsorship case, etc.

The Dapper Labs team said that the company currently has more than 110 employees and is also preparing for the full release of the new blockchain game Cheese Wizardz.
