Arbitrum Community Provides 21.4 Million ARB Incentives for New Projects to Receive Support

Yesterday, Arbitrum passed the proposal to provide funding support for the STIP proposal, which plans to increase the total budget allocation of the original STIP proposal (50 million ARB) to 71.4 million ARB, and also increase the number of participating protocols by 27.

From the list of projects with additional incentives, it can be seen that the level of incentives varies greatly, ranging from incentives of millions of tokens to smaller incentives of tens to hundreds of thousands of tokens. On the other hand, incentives are mainly focused on DeFi projects, and several top DEXs focusing on Arbitrum have received large allocations. The incentive amount is not strongly correlated with TVL, as projects with low TVL but high incentives may have potential for strong growth.
