Blockchain and marine intelligence

The unknown world explored by mankind, in addition to space, has an ocean that covers about 70% of the Earth's area. The ocean has a huge impact on human trade, tourism, food, minerals, energy, and the environment. How to use and use marine-related resources is a problem to be solved by marine intelligence. Specifically, marine intelligence includes marine information processing, ocean monitoring, marine equipment management, route management, maritime logistics management, and offshore fishing management.

The ocean has natural distributed characteristics, involves many kinds of resources, involves many stakeholders, and is highly dynamic, which provides a broad space for the application of blockchain. The blockchain has great potential in areas including multi-party data access, equipment control, coordinated use of various ship-to-ship weapons, maritime collaboration, and collaborative development of marine resources.

Blockchain and environmental protection intelligence

Environmental issues are major issues of human concern. Climate warming, rising sea levels, and urban air pollution are all swords of Damocles hanging over humans. Human beings have recognized the seriousness of environmental problems, and environmental protection actions are imminent.

Environmental intelligence includes environmental sensor applications, pollution monitoring networks, environmental big data analysis, environmental equipment management, and carbon emission rights and corresponding trading markets that have emerged in recent years. The blockchain can be deeply integrated with these areas, including data access and security mechanisms based on distributed platforms, environmental cooperation based on smart contracts, carbon emissions trading based on the pass, and carbon management. Just as the blockchain is used in other fields, in the field of environmental protection, the blockchain is also promising.

In summary, we see that although blockchains are used in these areas, these applications are mainly biased towards the bottom four layers of the entire architecture.

 

Blockchain as the architecture of the next generation of artificial intelligence infrastructure

This shows that the current application is still in the initial stage, and the application space of future blockchain combined with artificial intelligence is very large. We believe that as the collaboration and interoperability between applications become more in-depth and the collaboration between industries becomes more common, the application of blockchain and artificial intelligence will move up to the collaboration mechanism layer and the intelligent social layer in the architecture. The combination of chain and artificial intelligence can play a limited role.
