What is Unigraphs?
Unigraphs is a collection of 555 artworks engraved on the BTC blockchain. After participating in Abstraordinals, I discovered that I could leverage the unique functionalities on the BTC blockchain to create a genuine piece of art.
What sets Ordinals apart is that the files are engraved on sats (similar to “cents” relative to the US dollar, sats are the smallest unit of Bitcoin, with one sat being equal to one hundred millionth of a BTC). Each sat has a unique identifier (ID) and a text name (the image below showcases some cool sats).
Since each sat is one-of-a-kind, I came up with the idea to ensure randomness and recreate art using the identifiers of the sats. I think it’s cool because this is what I’ve been looking for – a way to create art that can only be realized on BTC. It’s a big deal for me because art evolves with the possible mediums (think of how the camera/computer changed art).
What have we done around this idea and who are we?
With these initial thoughts in mind, I approached Tansan (an outstanding programmer), SLianGuaicem (a Web3 product manager), and my husband.
The result of our discussions was the idea of using injection functions. It is a method that sounds difficult but is actually quite simple.
In our example below, it means that each unique digit from 0 to 9 is assigned a corresponding graphic that stays consistent. Since each sat has a unique numeric ID, each combination of graphic allocation will also be unique.
And that’s how Cong 181676898676181 became a work of art.
Inspired by styles, computer art, tribal art patterns, cryptography, and abstract modern art, I designed a collection of 10 different colors and 24 different shapes, ensuring the diversity of the resulting artwork.
What’s even more fascinating is that cooler Cong can create cooler and simpler artwork. For example, Cong 878678666876878 has only 3 unique digits (3d LianGuaili). The image below shows the artwork it would generate.
There are also other features based on Cong, such as the length of Cong (currently ranging from 13 to 16 digits).
You can check out all the features and collections on MagicEden, link: https://magiceden.io/ordinals/marketplace/unigraphs
In addition, we have made efforts in optimizing file size and loading speed. We combine two techniques: pre-generation and runtime-built art. Each artwork is randomly assigned graphics during the pre-generation period and then loaded into the browser when it is engraved. We use recursive inscriptions and JS to build the artwork. This means that the average size of each artwork is only 3-4KB.
Some artworks have animated features. This utilizes another function of the Bitcoin blockchain – halving. The video animation loops, but the actual file has a delay of 60 seconds. By 2140, the delay will be 1 second (but by then, we will all be gone).

Now, our collection has been engraved and is ready to finally reach the hands of collectors.
We will be giving away 100 Unigraphs for free to Abstraordinals holders, 400 will be sold at a price of 0.02 BTC each, and the remaining 55 will be reserved for the team and partners.
How to get one?
There will be a whitelist phase. I will select 10 people who retweet my tweets and reply to them with their thoughts on Unigraphs.
More whitelists will be shared with everyone on our Discord: https://discord.gg/q7Bn7wq7jN, as well as distributed to our friends in Ordinals SLianGuaice.
When will it be released?
Sometime in December. Follow my Twitter for the exact date.
What’s the next step?
I am committed to giving back value to my art holders because they are the ones who support me the most. It means a lot to me.
I also believe that Ordinals has great potential as a space, and I want to build a community of like-minded people who are interested in building on BTC, collecting art, Bitcoin scalability, and rare sats.
That’s why I will be creating a PFP collectible, and my art holders will receive it for free.
I’m not good at hype. Creating a PFP will create admiration and emotional attachment within the community. This is essential for building a community, so I’m looking for people to join me in this endeavor – people who are genuinely passionate and will receive the greatest rewards when the PFP era arrives.
Now, I will go back to work because the job is not done yet.
We will continue to update Blocking; if you have any questions or suggestions, please contact us!
