Chen Xiaohua: First understand the national epidemic situation: 1. As of February 6, a total of 28,130 new coronavirus pneumonia cases have been confirmed nationwide, 24,702 suspected cases, 1,301 cured cases, and 564 death cases. (Data from Tencent Health)

The data is startling! Let me analyze the economic impact. Macroeconomic impact: The troika, that is, investment, consumption, and exports were all significantly affected. Short-term unemployment rose and prices rose.

Talk about the impact of the industry: the catering, tourism, entertainment, transportation, education and training industries will have the biggest impact, and the medical and medical, online gaming and other industries will benefit. The training and conference forum of the blockchain industry is also relatively affected.

Impact on micro-individuals: Private enterprises, small and micro-enterprises, self-employed, and migrant workers are more damaged.

Impact on the capital market: short-term positive bond market, bearish stock markets (except medicine, online entertainment), but in the medium term still depends on economic fundamentals and trends. The central bank launched a 1.2 trillion public market reverse repo.

Blockchain technology in the philanthropy field can reduce transaction costs, increase transparency, and reduce conflicts between donations and acceptance

Chen Xiaohua: Talk about the advantages of blockchain technology in the field of charity.

1.) Reduce transaction costs. Transactions on the blockchain can be completed point-to-point. You can directly give Qian Juan to a designated person or institution without having to transfer to multiple banks or institutions, which will effectively reduce transaction costs.

2.) Increase transparency. Blockchain technology can make the donation link more transparent. Each donation will be directly recorded in the distributed ledger database. The records are open, transparent, queryable and cannot be tampered with. Of course, you can also trace the donation through the ledger.

3.) Enhance trust and reduce conflicts between donation and acceptance. Blockchain technology can enable people to quickly build trust relationships, eliminating the need for donors for third parties, which means that charities and non-profit organizations will no longer rely on other institutions, such as banks, lawyers and government entities.

Blockchain + charity background:

1) The Ministry of Civil Affairs mentioned in the "Internet + Social Organization (Social Work, Volunteer Service)" Action Plan (2018-2020) that in terms of "Internet + charitable fundraising", it is necessary to explore the use of blockchain technology in public welfare donations. Application of charity tracking, transparent management, etc., to construct a tamper-resistant charity organization information query system, to enhance the authority, transparency and public trust of information publishing and search services.

2) On March 1, 2020, Liu Wei, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of Jiadu Technology (600728), proposed that the government provide more support to AI technology companies participating in charities and guide technological innovation. Actively carry out technology donations and platform support, combining advanced technologies such as big data, blockchain, and cloud technology with charity.

3) The overall situation and problems of Chinese philanthropy. As of the end of November 2019, more than 7,500 charitable organizations were registered nationwide. Data show that in 2019, 41,000 social organizations nationwide launched 62,000 poverty alleviation projects and invested more than 60 billion yuan. At the 7th China Ci Exhibition held in September 2019 alone, nearly 7.5 billion yuan in poverty alleviation funds were matched. In recent years, with the further combination of financial methods such as trust and charity, the public's enthusiasm and participation in charitable activities have been effectively stimulated. The "2019 China Charitable Trust Development Report" released by Beijing Jingyi Social Organization Service Center shows that after three years of development, charitable trusts have become an important channel for charitable organizations, financial institutions and the public to participate in charitable causes. As of December 31, 2019, a total of 273 charitable trusts had been filed across the country, with a property scale of 2.935 billion yuan.

Under the guidance of the civil affairs department, the technological means such as the Internet and the development of charitable activities have become increasingly close. Yifang, deputy director of the Department of Charity Promotion and Social Work of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, introduced in a previous charity-related forum that in the first half of 2019 alone, 5.26 billion people clicked, followed and participated in Internet charity, and raised more than 1.8 billion yuan.

Charity Supply and Demand Contradictions:

When we donate money to charities, we always hope that the special funds will be used exclusively for helping those in need and solving the difficulties facing the country in order to achieve a certain social significance. However, with the increasing number of charitable organizations and the increasing scale of charitable funds, the problems of low operating efficiency, unknown charitable funds, untrustworthy charities, and fraud of charitable funds remain very prominent.

The society's requirement for charitable organizations is the reasonable use of charitable funds (the use is clear, transparent, and traceable). Let us first review the major charity scandals in the past few years.

Recently, the public's questioning of the Red Cross Society in Hubei Province, Wuhan City and other parts of the province has continued to ferment. In the whirlpool of public opinion, the Hubei Red Cross, in an interview with "Chinese Philanthropist" on February 1, responded to public questions like this:

"Chinese Philanthropist": How does the Hubei Red Cross respond to this epidemic?

Hubei Red Cross: In the face of such a major public health epidemic, how and how to cooperate with the government in this situation? There have been changes, and we are not quite sure. Sometimes we cannot keep up with the release and dissemination of government information. There may also be a process of adjustment, including public opinion, some right and wrong, and some caring people feel confused. As we are already struggling, but you still have to insist on this position.

"China Philanthropist": Many hospitals report that the distribution of materials is not timely, and their medical supplies are still in short supply.

Hubei Red Cross: There are not enough people. We are still recruiting volunteers. If there are a lot of volunteers, the supplies may be sent faster, including the data statistics section. We ca n’t take care of it too, and there are a lot of reports.

"China Philanthropist": Why haven't all the materials donated?

Hubei Provincial Red Cross: We are now doing statistics. The first wave of announcements has caused such a great response from the public. In this way, I have to make my work more detailed and accurate.

"Chinese Philanthropist": But if it is too slow, it will affect the distribution efficiency.

Hubei Red Cross: But there is no way. In terms of statistics, we requested that we increase the number of professional statistical volunteers, a large amount of data, funds, and targeted donations. The headquarters, civil affairs and other departments must ask us for data, and we only have two people for statistical data. It should be noted that this does not mean that all items are distributed uniformly after statistics have been collected, but that statistics are distributed while statistics are being distributed.

Public opinion: They are throwing pans.

Not only is it difficult to resolve people's current dissatisfaction, but it has caused the public and the media to dig deeper into suspicion.

Why can't these problems always be eliminated? The current charity chain model is as follows:
