At the meeting, the Blockchain Service Network (BSN) assisted social governance and the trial of the Hangzhou Urban Brain City Platform was officially launched, while the permanent site of the BSN Global Operations Center and Global Partner Conference was settled in Hangzhou.

When the national team enters the game, will BSN be a global infrastructure network where China controls the right to access the network?

On October 15th, six companies including the National Information Center, China Mobile Communications, China UnionPay, China Mobile Financial Technology, Smart Government and Enterprise, and Beijing Jujube Technology released a cross-public network, cross-region, and cross-agency blockchain Blockchain-based Service Network (BSN), a public infrastructure network that provides low-cost development, deployment, operation and maintenance, interworking, and supervision of alliance chain applications based on alliance chain technology.

What does that mean? At present, BATJ giants and entrepreneurs are deploying alliance chains, but they are very similar to local area networks. Moreover, because there is no unified technical standard, business data cannot be exchanged, which makes it costly for enterprises to deploy blockchain applications, which limits the popularity and transformation of blockchain in China.

"The industry lacks recognized public infrastructure for the underlying infrastructure of the blockchain." Shan Zhiguang, director of the Information and Industrial Development Department of the National Information Center, said that the blockchain shoulders the historical mission of building a smart society and a digital economy. The underlying support platform of the blockchain allows practitioners to enter the blockchain industry at low cost. And to solve the high cost of the chain, the underlying platform is heterogeneous, data can not interact, difficult to promote the application of industry problems.

The main point of the BSN top-level design is "1 base, 1 core, 7 properties".

One base is based on the alliance chain architecture. The 1 core is based on supporting smart cities and the digital economy. The 7 characteristics are openness, publicity, scalability, open source, multi-portal, low cost and autonomy.

Among them, several characteristics are more interesting. For example, openness means that the BSN does not have a sole owner, and the data center resources are connected to form a BSN through a set of blockchain environments and protocols. Scalability means that all data centers and cloud services that meet security and configuration requirements can apply for network access, without restrictions on operators and so on. Open source means that BSN is a global blockchain infrastructure network that can be deployed globally, so city node software is open source and the operating mechanism is transparent to everyone. Autonomy, this is a global infrastructure network independently researched and developed by China and controlling network access rights.

Shan Zhiguang believes that the significance of BSN is currently six points.

First, reduce costs and promote the development of blockchain technology. Second, independent intellectual property rights, China's global service network that controls network access rights. The third is the infrastructure for China's smart city and digital economy. Fourth, it is the second-generation intelligent professional Internet based on the Internet and consensus mechanism. Fifth, the information infrastructure of the national global economic strategy.

According to the plan, BSN will complete the internal test in 2020. At the end of April 2020, after the technical upgrade of the trial operation was completed, there were no less than 200 urban nodes and hundreds of applications in the city. In May 2020, the filing was completed and it entered the formal commercial phase.

BSN + urban brain, blockchain will fully enter Hangzhou people's lives in 5 areas

City Brain is a gold business card in Hangzhou. It originated in April 2016. It has gradually expanded to 11 major systems and 48 scenes, including police, transportation, urban management, cultural tourism, and health, starting from traffic control. It can be said that the urban brain is a "key" to urban governance in the digital era held by Hangzhou people.

On December 1st, the pilot of BSN to help social governance and the Hangzhou Urban Brain City Platform was officially launched. This means that the "infrastructure" of the digital age, the urban brain, will introduce blockchain technology to achieve better digital governance with the help of blockchain.

Wang Zhenfeng, deputy head of the People's Government of Hangzhou's Xiacheng District, said that BSN has four meanings: public, open, safe and value. Furthermore, he introduced the exploration of 5 scenarios that Xiacheng District is currently combining with BSN. These explorations are divided into 2C, 2B and 2G.

2C refers to the digital unified identity of the blockchain. Construct a lightweight alliance chain based on the underlying network of the BSN underlying blockchain, and incorporate unified identity authentication information into the blockchain management to achieve traceability and non-tampering of the trace data of the account operation process, which is effectively applied to the 1Call video office serving the masses.

2B includes smart monitoring of hotel disinfection, ecological monitoring of road health, and credit chain for SME financing.

Road health ecological monitoring refers to the development of blockchain road information and contribution management services based on BSN, to achieve "road information storage and sharing" and "citizen's contribution value management", to increase the enthusiasm of citizens to participate in city management and the credibility of urban management departments.

In the future, the system will encourage users to upload pavement information through their own terminals. The uploaded pavement information will be automatically converted into the user's contribution value by smart contracts and stored, and users can use the contribution value to redeem corresponding rewards. The supervision unit can call the block link port to make real-time query and analysis of the contribution value.

The SME financing credit chain refers to the use of BSN and 5G networks and the 1Call system to make full use of the existing credit data in Xiacheng District to promote the construction of government integrity, business integrity, and social integrity. Through the "picture" of corporate credit, the credit information slept in various government departments has become an important wealth of corporate financing, effectively solving the difficult and expensive financing problems of SMEs.

2G is a maximum of once inside the organization. This refers to building a lightweight alliance chain or private chain on the BSN to open up the matter process in the government department's information system, the operation can be traced back, and the efficiency, accuracy and security of the "run up to one time" inside the organization is improved.

At present, the government of Xiacheng District has established a blockchain service network incubation base within its jurisdiction. At the event site, Shan Zhiguang and Liu Ying, the secretary of the Xiacheng District Party Committee, listed for base 001 of the BSN incubation base. The Blockchain Service Network Development Alliance also signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Hangzhou's Xiacheng District.

For a long time, Hangzhou has been regarded as a city of innovation and a blockchain city. This is not a simple title, the blockchain is truly becoming a part of citizen life.
