The most academic taste, the average age is the smallest, Wuzhen this technology forum has come to more than 200 college students worldwide!

The 2nd World Blockchain Conference·Wuzhen will be held on Friday, Saturday (November 8th – 9th) at Wuzhen Internet International Convention and Exhibition Center.

University voice

On the afternoon of the 8th, GeekHub will conduct a theme event with BTCU at the 218 Tongji Hall on the 2nd floor of the main hall of Wuzhen Conference, entitled “New Industry Power, Blockchain Sound from Universities”.

This is the smallest average age of the guests in the surrounding activities of Wuzhen. There are more than 200 applicants from dozens of top universities around the world. Such as domestic famous schools Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, National People's Congress, Fudan University, Tongji University. Famous overseas universities include Stanford, Cornell, and University College London.

By then, these ivory tower students will start a heated discussion, aside from the shackles of business, they will explore the possibility and future of the blockchain from an academic perspective. For example, Huang Yujie and Lin Zepei from Zhejiang University will share on behalf of college students, and they will conduct an academic analysis on the topics of blockchain and cryptography.

Today, students are no longer only able to study. From the blockchain community of Chinese universities, they are no shortage of technical geeks and blockchain entrepreneurs. BTCU community founder Lu Di, Hashi future Jia Yingwei, Mobi game Kong Weijie, chain change bar Li Xin, Mina super technology Liu Fei, Yan Fei network Zhang Xu is one of the best. At that time, they will share the round table "BTCU, Student Blockchain Entrepreneur" and explain their mental journey to the entrepreneurial blockchain entrepreneurship.

Undoubtedly, this will be a high-level exchange event at the blockchain level of Chinese and foreign universities, which will open a window for exchanges and international cooperation between Chinese and foreign universities.

In addition, the theme forum also invited internationally renowned blockchain researchers and entrepreneurs to share cutting-edge technical research on the one hand, and they also had to face sharp questions from students.

And see a few guests introduced.

Dr. Wang Wei ’s theme is “Social Choice and Blockchain”. Wang Wei is a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Leuven, Belgium, and a Ph.D. and postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Computer Science at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. He studied under the famous Swiss computer scientist Roger Wattenhofer. His research interests include distributed computing, blockchain, algorithmic game theory, machine learning, deep learning, quantum algorithms, and theoretical computers.

Wang Wei is a financial technology consultant for financial institutions such as UBS UBS, Credit Suisse Credit Suisse and SIX Swiss Stock Exchange. He is also a Distinguished Professor of Sun Yat-sen University and a special lecturer at the National Tianyuan Mathematical Center. Currently, he is also engaged in the research of blockchain in the financial field, and is the research director of the Blockchain Research Institute of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

Ben Fisch is another guest speaker at Ben Stanford University, Ben Fisch, director of the Center for Applied Cryptography and Blockchain Research, Dan Boneh, a globally recognized cryptography leader. Therefore, Ben Fisch's academic direction is computer cryptography, blockchain and other related fields.

Ben Fisch has a groundbreaking study in areas such as Bulletproofs, Verifiable Delay Functions (VDF), and RSA Accumulators. He has been involved in the development of core protocols for Filecoin, Chia Network and Ethereum. Currently, Ben Fisch is the co-founder and CTO of the Findora public chain. He will bring zero knowledge to prove relevant sharing.

QuarkChain’s chief marketing officer and founding partner, Aachen, will share from the perspective of the project side that “the public chain should be broken after being “expanded”.

The reason why this topic is addressed to Aachen is largely due to QuarkChain's first implementation of state fragmentation on the underlying blockchain architecture. It relies on the double-layer structure of the root chain + segmentation chain, and can access many different heterogeneous chains on the slice. It can not only support DAPP, Layer2, but also support the segmentation chain. All small ecosystems can be crossed. Slice (chain) interaction.

The average age is the smallest, the most technical fan, this niche technical forum, will you go? 1 2
