What changes have been made to the point incentive system with the official launch of Blur V2?
What changes to the point system were made in Blur V2's official launch?Attribute bids will not be diluted. If an NFT series previously received 100 points per day, it will still receive 100 points per day. The only difference is that these points are now distributed between collection bids and attribute bids.
If a collector is willing to pay a premium for an attribute, more points will be allocated to attribute bids. On the other hand, if collectors are not willing to pay a premium for attributes, more points will be allocated to collection bids.
In practice, most points will be used for collection bids because the base price is usually much higher than the median and rare bids, and the exact allocation is determined by the market.
Season 2 Update
The first season of Blur introduced a market protocol, bidding pool, and numerous tools for listing, cleaning, and monitoring the market. Season 2 introduces lending and BNPL (supported by Blend), full support for mobile devices, notifications, attribute bidding, and Gas-optimized v2 market. There are three undisclosed key developments, and once these developments are nearing release, Blur will share the Season 2 roadmap.
- Comparison of NFT lending protocols: Will a price drop lead to a cascade of liquidations?
- Blur V2 is officially launched, what are the changes in the points incentive system?
- The Rise of Web3 Social
Note
Users can continue to earn listing points on series that have not yet enabled Blend, and listing points are as valuable as bidding points. Loyalty is important for each collection. Simply list and maintain MAX LOYALTY on Blur to maximize rewards for Season 2.
Can Blur V2 hold the first chair of the NFT aggregator after going online, win market praise, and regain its reputation? Let’s wait and see.
