Dong Dajian, deputy director of the Information Technology Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said on the 9th that significant progress has been made in the development of standards in the field of blockchain in China in 2019, and that the National Blockchain and Distributed Computing Technology Standardization Committee will be established in 2020.

The Blockchain and Distributed Computing Technology Standardization Committee was approved for construction. A number of group standards have been issued. One national standard, and nearly ten industry standards have been approved. Participate in the international standardization work of institutions such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and lead the development of international standards such as the blockchain reference architecture.

Dong Dajian said that in 2020, the National Blockchain and Distributed Computing Technology Standardization Committee should be prepared to accelerate the formulation of urgently needed standards.

In the field of electronic information, 10 international standards led by China were officially released in 2019, and the development of the English and Japanese versions of lithium-ion battery safety standards was organized to promote the internationalization of Chinese standards.
