The launch of the Scroll mainnet marks a new stage for the project. One week after the mainnet launch, let’s take a look at some highlights in terms of data.
100,000 Transactions on Scroll Mainnet in One Week
First, let’s take a look at the transaction situation on the Scroll mainnet. According to Blockscout data, the number of verified transactions has exceeded 100,000 (including contract calls, transfers, transactions, minting, etc.), with a total of 101,916 transactions as of the time of writing, and an average of 12,330 transactions per day. The number of wallet addresses has also surpassed 18,000.
Comparing with the ZK Rollup field, the top projects have the following average daily transactions in the past month: zkSync Era with 6.73 million transactions, Starknet with 3.53 million transactions, Linea with 1.22 million transactions, and Polygon zkEVM with less than 200,000 transactions.
You can see the transaction status of Scroll Mainnet in the ZK Rollup track from this. Considering that Scroll has not officially announced the launch of the Mainnet and there is no official guidance, it is currently not comparable and further observation and evaluation are still needed.
In terms of block generation, the average block generation time of Scroll is currently 10.7 seconds, with a total of over 73,000 blocks.
532 ETH cross-chain to Scroll has been recorded
According to Dune data, there are currently 532 ETH cross-chain to the Scroll Mainnet, equivalent to about 840,000 USD. The highest number of ETH cross-chain transactions to Scroll on the second day of the Mainnet launch, that is, on October 11th, reached 243 ETH, and the number of daily cross-chain ETH transactions in the following days was around several tens of ETH.
As of 15 hours ago, there are 795 cross-chain independent addresses, among which the address 0x3375255e3e531452be479c4cd68b738193f7fb00 has deposited 220 ETH (equivalent to about 350,000 USD) through 31 cross-chain transactions, accounting for more than 40% of the total cross-chain amount.
Further data shows that 76% of the cross-chain users have made 1 deposit, and there are 9 addresses that have made more than 10 deposits. In terms of deposit amount, nearly 67% of users (538 people) have deposit amounts between 0 and 0.1 ETH, and more than half of the users (410 people, 51.6%) have deposit amounts between 0.01-0.1 ETH. 5 users have deposited more than 20 ETH.
Which DApps are Scroll Mainnet users interacting with?
According to the Blockscout Scroll Mainnet Token page, if we refer to the Tokens with the highest number of holding addresses, the projects that have attracted attention include Merkly, Zonic on Scroll, PunkSwap Token, Skydrome, Scroll Name Service, Scroll Doge (zkDoge), Scrollswap Finance Token (SF), Script (SCRIPT), and Scroll Inu (Sinu).
Among them, Merkly claims to be a multifunctional Omnichain solution that enables cross-chain OFT (claiming MERK tokens and crossing chains) and ONFT (minting NFTs and crossing chains) through LayerZero across various networks. On the second day of Scroll Mainnet launch, Merkly supported the transfer of ONFT between Scroll and Optimism, Arbitrum, Avax, Polygon, and others. Also, it supports small recharge through its Gas Refuel. It is worth noting that the official Merkly page states that the MERK token has an infinite supply and is not suitable for trading on public markets. In addition, bridges that currently support cross-chain asset transfers include Owlto and others.
Zonic is an NFT marketplace on the Ethereum Layer2 developed by the Apetimism team, which also integrated with Scroll the day after it launched on the Scroll mainnet. In addition, Zonic has also released commemorative NFTs for users to claim, with 3,302 claimed out of a total of 100,000.
Skydrome is a ve(3,3) exchange on Scroll, inspired by Velodrome design, and combines liquidity incentive engines and vote-locking governance models to reward participants who promote the protocol’s sustainable development.
Scroll Name Service is a domain name project on Scroll, with 942 domains currently registered and 637 addresses held.
In addition, like other new public chains and networks, there are also a number of Meme projects on Scroll.
However, since many projects are in the early stages of development, users are advised to exercise caution and DYOR (Do Your Own Research).
Overall, with the launch of the Scroll mainnet and official incentives, we can expect the integration of top DeFi projects with Scroll and the launch of more native DApps, further boosting its trading volume and activity.
