Layer1 blockchain Sharduem raises $5.4M with a $248M valuation.Layer1 blockchain Shardeum, founded by WazirX co-founder and CEO Nischal Shetty, has completed a $5.4 million funding round with participation from Amber Group, Galxe, J17 Capital, TRGC, Jsquare, Bware Labs, Tané Labs, Hyperithm Group, and Luganodes. The raised funds will be used to strengthen its ecosystem and prepare for the launch of its mainnet by the end of 2023. Additionally, a representative from Shardeum stated that the company’s latest valuation is $248 million.
Previously, Shardeum completed a $18.2 million seed round in October 2022 with lead investors Jane Street, Struck Crypto, SBlockingrtan Group, Big Brain Holdings, DFG, Ghaf Capital Blockingrtners, and Foresight Ventures.
