Why build Onchain Realities?

ELI5: Just as AI research explores the components that make up human intelligence or structures that resemble human intelligence, the construction of Onchain Realities (OR) provides a fertile ground for understanding the generation and application of different levels of reality.
This exploration has at least two meanings:

(1) Unbounded Accessibility: The physical and philosophical construction of OR is highly complex, and it provides a maximum creative expression space for people with different backgrounds.
(2) If the physics of our real world can be faithfully simulated, OR will become the foundation for innovation in countless industries.
1- Blockchain games are ultimately not just games, but phase-based software that provides entertainment value. Blockchain games are the precursor to Onchain Realities (OR).
2- What is Onchain Realities (OR)? OR is the enforcement of rules and constraints on the blockchain, applying mechanisms that enforce these rules and constraints and verifying them on the blockchain using zero-knowledge proofs (zkp) or validity proofs (vp).
3- We can identify the two ends of the possible range of OR: Simulated OR and Native OR. Simulated OR attempts to reconstruct or approximate the physics of our real world as closely as possible. Native OR attempts to create native rules, constraints, and mechanisms that support zkp/vp in a distributed computing system.
4- Some Native OR may choose to implement certain simulated structures related to human participants, while other simulated OR may choose to implement unique native mechanisms for computational/storage performance or specific game design purposes.
5- Why build reality on the blockchain? Among the many unique properties of the blockchain and zk-rollup/validity-rollup as a medium, immutability and permanence are particularly noteworthy. Smart contracts are constructed to be immutable upon deployment (or become immutable under certain periods or conditions), making the constraints or physical laws immutable in reality, with their execution guaranteed by the system’s security model. If the underlying chain is built and developed through genuine long-term thinking, the long-term existence of these realities is possible.
