Overview of 12 projects in Binance Labs' 6th season incubation program

On the evening of September 21st, Binance Labs announced the 12 incubation projects for the sixth season, including infrastructure, DeFi, AI-driven DApps, and GameFi/SocialFi. The sixth season of the incubation program will start on September 25th, 2023, and will provide founders with resources from the Binance ecosystem and 1:1 guidance through a two-month comprehensive course.

Infrastructure

Vistara

A one-stop deployment framework for designing and managing scalable infrastructure across different execution environments. It enables any developer to have a seamless experience of writing, building, testing, failing, iterating, and succeeding in just a few minutes by providing specific application-specific aggregation, testing, iteration, and deployment in a modular ecosystem.

UXUY

A decentralized multi-chain trading platform based on MPC and AA wallet technologies. UXUY’s GasPool feature is a universal Gas solution developed by UXUY. When users choose the GasPool payment option during the transaction process, the system will automatically use the cryptocurrency in the GasPool to pay for Gas fees. It simplifies the trading operations for users on DEX without the need to understand complex Gas mechanisms.

According to the UXUY project team, they have received investments from Bixin Ventures, Waterdrip Capital, KuCoin Ventures, Pionex, LK Ventures, Arcane Group, Daoverse Capital, Lapin Digital, and MEXC Ventures. UXUY currently supports 8 public chains, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Tron, Arbitrum, Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, and Optimism.

DeFi

Derivio

A decentralized structured derivatives ecosystem on zkSync. Derivio has built a liquidity-as-a-service derivatives model that focuses on execution and fund pool security, in order to expand it to create new markets that provide better risk hedging. The first product to be released by Derivio is perpetual digital options trading, provided in a liquidity-as-a-service model. After launching on zkSync, Derivio plans to launch on blockchain projects implementing the zkEVM network and NEAR.

BBOX

A decentralized exchange based on Linea that can quickly create trading pools for a wide range of assets, while providing advanced yield strategies for liquidity providers. The project team has not yet disclosed any relevant information.

Ethena

A derivatives infrastructure provider dedicated to transforming ETH into the first crypto-native interest-earning stablecoin USDe that does not rely on the banking system. USDe is fully collateralized on-chain and maintains stability by hedging ETH collateral on centralized and decentralized exchanges. Ethena’s second product will be built on USDe by capturing stETH yields and the underlying futures market: The Internet Bond.

Ethena has completed a $6.5 million seed round of financing, with Dragonfly leading the investment and support from cryptocurrency derivatives exchanges such as Deribit, Bybit, OKX, Gemini, and Huobi, as well as Arthur Hayes, the founder of BitMEX, and his family office Maelstrom.

Shogun

A chain-agnostic order flow aggregator and intelligent liquidity router for modular networks, initially launched on Cosmos cross-chain. Shogun optimizes user experience through order flow aggregation and intelligent liquidity routing on asynchronous networks. Its flagship product DIMM (Decentralized Interchain Market Maker) uses IBC and Interchain Accounts (ICA) to operate automated logic for dynamic rebalancing strategies, hedging with available on-chain liquidity.

AI-driven DApp

MyShell

An AI-based Web3 chatbot platform with proprietary AI and TTS (Text-to-Speech) models and modular design. It enables users to create and share AI robots and profit from them, each with unique voices, memories, and conversational styles.

MyShell offers multiple registration methods, allowing users to register through Web3 wallets, Web2 account systems, or directly through email + verification code. After successful registration via non-Web3 methods, the system automatically assigns an ETH custodial wallet to the registered user. Currently, users can send text and audio messages to the robot, with a maximum message length of 500 characters and a maximum audio message duration of 90 seconds. MyShell’s members are divided into three categories: default regular members, premium members, and the highest level Genesis Pass holders, with different privileges corresponding to different levels. The Genesis Pass NFT is limited to 10,000 copies and can be purchased on Opensea.

NPFrompt

NFP (Non-Fungible Prompt) is an AI-driven UGC platform with proprietary multimodal models, including text-to-image/video/music models, allowing users to easily create NFT content, vote, and earn rewards from Web3 projects sponsored art events. The models used are Midjourney v5 and Stable Diffusion, and the project team is currently exploring and developing their own models to better support NFT art creation. NFP plans to launch an Artwork Editor tool in the future, allowing users to further customize within the application before publishing NFTs on-chain.

QnA3

An AI-driven Web3 knowledge sharing and search platform. With its proprietary data lake, QnA3 enables users to easily access Web3 information and knowledge in Q&A format.

GameFi/SocialFi

Cellula

Cellula is a fully on-chain artificial life simulation game on Ethereum. It defines the interactions between cells according to the rules of “Conway’s Game of Life” and allows them to evolve autonomously on the blockchain. Players can observe the growth, reproduction, and evolution of these organisms in a virtual life space. “Cell” is the basis of the Cellula game and a genetic fragment of organisms in the Cellula world. Some cells have strong vitality, while others have weak vitality. Cells can be spliced and synthesized into powerful organisms on the synthesis platform according to certain rules. There are a total of 512 types of cells, with 10 types for each kind, and a total of 5120 cell groups.

Crypto Café

Crypto Café is a learning community dedicated to blockchain and crypto themes, aiming to reduce the entry barriers for users to access digital assets. Users can learn about crypto and how it works, study blockchain technology, and understand the differences between various cryptocurrencies. At the same time, users can earn “sip tokens” while learning.

MetaCene

MetaCene is a Web3 native MMORPG home game that supports easy access for mainstream gamers. It was founded by game experts with over 20 years of industry experience from companies such as Shanda Games, Blizzard, and Perfect World. The game presents a surreal post-apocalyptic society where survivors interact with different NFTs, including PVE and PVP gameplay. MetaCene completed its Alpha testing in August and launched the MetaCene Apostle NFT series. The team is currently developing a mobile version and the first official version, which is planned to be released in the fourth quarter of 2023.
